Quarterly Growth Conversation Tool - Human Resources

Quarterly Growth Conversations (QGC) should be a focal point to bring Talent Development tools and data together, helping managers enable high performance and career growth in their teams.
QGCs will be enhanced by (but not dependent on) data-driven inputs including goals, feedback, learning plans, and HIPO status.

All ServiceNow employees should have regular engaging and actionable career conversations with their manager to support their well-being, performance, and growth.
Problems
1. Not everyone has Quarterly growth conversations with their employees.
2. If they are, there is no way to track wether-or-not this even happens.
3. Lack of clarity and what the action plan is.
4. We don't have a way to connect other Talend development processes.
Research data
Usability testing and documentation prior to concept requirements and flows.
Product Requirements
Initial product requirements were created in Microsoft word and translated into excel for specific UI tasks.​​​​​​​
Block flows/Wireframes
Initial block flows were done in person, remote and at various levels of fidelity during the process. 
Flows cleaned up into wireframes for development review.

The manager receives a notification to launch a direct report quarterly growth conversation.
Concept to visual fidelity - Main QGC Template
Initial conversation template that the manager and the employee can both use as a guide for their QGC. This design was an MVP that was easy to navigate but hard to understand what steps should be taken first. The push to market was achieved. The next step was to re-design in a way that we could scale and fix all the usability problems. We did not have a chance to do research up front originally.
